She also worked in Uganda and South Korea. In the U.S., Rebecca litigated 9/11 cases in New York City and did complex class action and insurance coverage work in Seattle. She was also a public defender for five years. She is possibly more comfortable in a courtroom than out. Rebecca loves travel, poetry and novels, history, sports, and animals. Particularly dangerous ones. She earned an A.B. from Dartmouth College in history, also studying philosophy at the University of Edinburgh and art history at the British Institute in Florence, Italy. She earned her J.D. at Georgetown University Law Center, focusing on international law.
Hui Yang was born and raised in China. She obtained her BA from the University of Washington, where she double majored in Philosophy and International Studies, and minored in Middle East Studies and Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations. After working for several Seattle-based nonprofits, she moved to Tucson to pursue her JD at the University of Arizona. During her JD program, she concentrated in Immigration Law and Policy, Family and Juvenile Law, and Transactional Business Law, earning specialized certificates in each of these areas. Additionally, she completed a Diplomado in Mexican Public Law and Policy through a joint program with the University of Arizona and the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), conducted in Spanish. This program allowed her to deepen her understanding of international law within a global context. She was also selected as the Family and Juvenile Law Fellow during her final year.
Hui is fluent in Mandarin and English and has a working proficiency in Spanish among other languages.

Derek Bambauer is of counsel at the Admon Law Firm and a law professor at the University of Arizona. Bambauer is an internationally-recognized expert on Internet law and intellectual property. At the University of Arizona, he is the co-founder of the IP & Entrepreneurship Clinic, which assists start-up firms, creators, and inventors with free legal counsel. He is a co-recipient of a National Science Foundation grant to study the use of artificial intelligence to analyze contracts. Bambauer has published his research in dozens of articles in peer-reviewed journals, law reviews, and the mainstream press.
